Terms and Conditions

1. Trip Booking
  • Your contract in respect of your holiday is made with My Weekend Trip (‘the Company‘), registered in India and all bookings are subject to these terms and conditions.
  • All communications by the Company in relation to your holiday will be sent to the address stated on the booking form.
  • We will send all communications related to your holiday to the address provided on the booking form. Please ensure that the address is accurate and up-to-date
  • To make a booking with us, you must use an authorized representative of our company or book online.
  • To confirm your booking, you must complete and submit our company booking form along with a 50% deposit of the total cost of your trip. We require this deposit to secure your reservation and ensure availability.
  • Once we receive your booking form and deposit, we will send you an advance booking email and payment receipt with all the details of your trip.
  • Your trip must be paid in full at least 24-48 days before the departure date or at the time departure in cash. If payment is not received by the due date, the Company reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.
  • The person who signs the booking form guarantees payment of the total amount shown on the booking form in accordance with these conditions. It is the responsibility of the signatory to ensure the Company receives payment in full before the trip starts.
  • We will send you a booking confirmation email 24-48 hours before the trip departure with all the relevant details, including the tour itinerary (if applicable), departure times, meeting points, and any additional information you need to know before the trip.
2. Trip Information
  • The information provided on our website is intended to give you a complete idea of the trip and expected experience. We make every effort to ensure that the information is accurate and up-to-date.
3. Travel Documents
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that you have all the necessary travel documents such as Aadhar Card or any personal ID authorized by the Indian Government, and travel insurance.
  • We will not be held responsible if you are unable to participate in the tour due to missing or incorrect travel documents.
4. Trip Cost
  • We are not obligated to provide a breakdown of the costs associated with your holiday. The total cost of your trip is provided to you at the time of booking, and includes all relevant expenses. If you have any questions or concerns about the cost of your trip, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.
  • We reserve the right to inform you of any price increases prior to accepting your booking.

6. Changes to the itinerary
  • We reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary and time due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, natural disasters, or other emergencies.
  • We will inform you of any changes as soon as possible and provide alternative arrangements where necessary.
  • We are not liable for any extra expenses resulting from itinerary changes. Any additional costs will be collected upfront and shared among all travelers on the trip.
7. Physical & Mental Fitness
  • You must inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions or special requirements you may have before booking the tour.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in good health and physical condition to participate in the trip. Please consult your physician before booking if you have any concerns.
8. Hotel Accommodation
  • The accommodation provided during the tour depends on the category of the tour/package. It may be resorts, hotels, houseboats, tents, camps, dormitories, hostels, cruise and more. The specific type of accommodation will be mentioned in the tour/package details.
  • The suggested names of hotels or types of accommodation mentioned in the tour program are subject to availability. In case of unavailability, similar types of tours may be accommodated in different hotels or types of accommodation based on capacity and availability. It is well informed whenever such events occur and proceed further if traveler agree to our new suggestion or recommendation.
  • We kindly request all travelers to adhere to the standard check-in and check-out times as per travel industry. Check-in is after 12:00 AM and check-out is before 12:00 PM. Early check-in subject to availability and Late check-out may be subject to additional fees and you refer directly from home premises.
  • Any damages caused to the hotel rooms/ type of accommodation during the stay, shall be borne by the guest and has to be paid immediately or before check-out
9. Transport
  • We always intend to provide a comfortable coach for each trip based group size.
  • Seat assignments are on a first-come, first-served basis. You may change the seat from fellow travelers with kind request.
  • We will make every effort to operate on time or reduce travel time, but we are not responsible for any delays or cancellations due to traffic, weather, or other factors beyond our control.
  • You are responsible for your own baggage. We are not responsible for any loss or damage to your baggage during transport. Keep your luggage safe during the journey.
10. Trip Leader
  • During group tours, Tour leader will accompany guests from the first day to the last day of the tour, as specified in the itinerary. To ensure a pleasant experience, guests are advised to follow the instructions provided by the Tour Manager regarding the tour schedule, safety precautions, clothing, necessary items to carry, meals, sightseeing information, local etiquette, and any do's and don'ts. Please note that the Tour Manager cannot be held responsible for any consequences arising from the guest/s disregarding or overruling the given instructions.
  • Please be advised to comply with all safety instructions given by our local tour guides or trip leaders during your visit.
11. Trip Safety
  • We kindly request that you respect the individuals and the environment around you during your travels. This includes, but is not limited to, fellow travelers, trip leaders, the local community, nature, wildlife, and yourself. Let us all contribute to a positive and responsible travel experience.
  • Any inconvenience faced by the guest/s on tour should be immediately brought to the notice of the Tour Manager so that a solution can be sought from the concerned officials wherever possible.
12. Unused Item/Activities
  • Please note that any meals, activities, or services that are not utilized by the client will not be adjusted in the package cost, and no refund will be provided for them.
13. Insurance
  • We recommend that you purchase adequate travel insurance to cover any unforeseen events or incidents that may arise during your trip.
14. Your Responsibility
  • Be mindful of your limits, physical abilities, emotional boundaries, social situations, and alcohol consumption while traveling. Respect your physical and emotional boundaries, take breaks when needed, and drink responsibly.
  • Traveler booking a 'group tour' are expected to behave in a manner suitable for group travel. Any abusive, aggressive, or harmful behaviour towards fellow travelers, Tour Managers, or representatives of our associates will result in the cancellation of the booking or the guest being removed from the tour. The company reserves the right to cancel or terminate the tour for such guests, and no refund, compensation, or liability will be provided.
  • Please ensure punctuality throughout the tour. Any missed sightseeing or services due to delays on the part of the guest will be the sole responsibility of the guest. Any expenses or losses incurred as a result will be borne by the guests. Especially departure time, group sightseeing activities, trek timing etc.
15. Our Responsibility
  • My Weekend Trip is a travel company that partners with several independent service providers to offer a wide range of tour-related services such as transportation, sightseeing, hotels, restaurants, trek guides, and more. While we take extensive measures to ensure a seamless tour experience, it is important to note that we cannot be held responsible or liable for any compensation related to operational inefficiencies. However, we will do our best to assist you in achieving the best possible outcome.
  • The Company is not responsible if you or any member of your party suffer death, illness or injury as a result of any failure to perform or improper performance of any part of our contract with you where such failure is attributable to (i) the acts and/or omissions of any member of the party, or (ii) those of a third party not connected with the provision of your holiday, or (iii) an event which neither the Company or the service provider could have foreseen or prevented even with due care.
  • Should any member of your party suffer illness, injury or death through misadventure arising out of an activity, which does not form part of the holiday the Company has arranged for you the Company cannot accept liability. The Company will offer general assistance where appropriate.
16. Complaint Procedure
  • If you have any complaints during the trip, please notify your trip leader immediately so that we can address the issue.
  • If you have a problem during your trip, you may inform the relevant hotel, local team member or partner immediately so that they can endeavour to put things right.
17. Data Protection Act
  • It may be necessary for the Company to ask you for certain personal information such as name, age, birth date, address, phone number, email ID, Aadhar number etc. To process your travel arrangements this personal information may be used by company representatives or partners like hotel, trip manager.
  • The company reserves the right to utilize guest testimonials, emails, on-tour photos, video clips, and social media posts tagged to My Weekend Trip for promotional purposes related to tours, packages, destinations, information videos, etc., on any media platform, without requiring any additional consent or providing payment for such photographs and/or videos. Hence anyone may request for removal for privacy concerns.
  • In addition to the above, guest’s personal information is subject to disclosure as required by law or by order of the court or enquiry by any government or statutory authority.
