The next day takes you deeper into the mountains towards Rajgundha Valley. The scenic drive itself is an experience, passing through quiet roads, forests, remote villages, and hidden spots. Once there, explore wide green meadows, traditional wooden houses, and breathtaking Himalayan views—far from the crowds.

This isn't just about ticking off sightseeing places. It's about slow mornings, mountain roads, unexpected stops, shared laughs, and meeting people who start as strangers but may become your next travel buddies.

Trip Itinerary

  • The trip will start from Delhi - Vidhan Sabha Metro Station (Yellow Line) at 8:00 pm.

  • Gather and meet your trip  manager and fellow travellers. Then, we’ll start the overnight journey to Bir.

  • En-route Pickup: Pickup is available from Chandigarh/Zirakpur, scheduled between 1:00 AM and 2:00 AM (mid-night)

  • Arrive in Bir and take a scenic drive towards Barot Valley.

  • Check in, freshen up, and take some time to relax.

  • After resting, we'll visit Lapas Waterfall - a peaceful forest waterfall perfect for a refreshing nature break.

  • Explore the historic Shanan Hydel Project and learn a little about its history. 

  • Take a relaxed walk along the Uhl River and through Barot Village to experience local Himalayan life. 

  • Visit the Barot Trout Farm and discover the valley's famous trout culture. If you’re interested, you can also try trout fishing (optional and chargeable).

  • Visit Barot Zero Point for beautiful valley views and photographs.

  • By dark, relax and unwind with light music and a cozy bonfire in the evening. Enjoy free time with your friend and fellow traveller followed by a delicious dinner.  

  • Overnight stay in Borat.

  • Wake up to fresh mountain air, beautiful valley views, and a relaxed breakfast.

  • Get ready for one of the most scenic drives of the trip as we leave Barot and head towards Rajgundha Valley. The route takes us through quiet mountain roads, small villages, forests, and a few hidden spots along the way.

  • Kothi Kohar Waterfall - Stop for a refreshing break at this peaceful, lesser-known waterfall tucked away in the mountains.

  • Rajgundha Valley - Explore its wide green meadows, traditional wooden houses, remote villages, and stunning Himalayan views. Take your time, click some pictures, talk to the locals, and simply enjoy the peaceful side of Himachal away from the usual tourist crowds.

  • By around 5:00 PM, we’ll reach Bir, wrap up the mountain adventure, and start our overnight journey back to Delhi.

  • Reach Delhi by early morning (around 5:00 - 6:00 AM) with unforgettable memories, amazing moments, and new friendships to cherish forever.

  • Solo travelers will be provided accommodation with the same gender. Choose sharing (triple or double) as per your need & lifestyle choice.

  • Couple will provide accommodation on a double sharing basis.

  • Triple or quad room sharing, room arranged with 1 bed + extra mattresses to accommodate everyone comfortably. Please make your selection accordingly, keeping this in mind.

  • Single Sharing is available - on request and extra charge.

Seats are limited for each trip. To ensure smooth preparation for both you and our team, bookings close every Wed/Thur. Please confirm your booking before the deadline.

  • Your booking gets confirmed after we receive the advance payment. You can book online or directly through a My Weekend Trip representative.
  • Please reach the boarding point on time, and update your trip manager if you’re delayed.
  • Since this is a group trip, everyone enjoys the same inclusions and services.
  • If you skip an activity or meal, we can’t offer a refund or adjustment.
  • Only registered travellers can join the trip- no extra person allowed. 
  • Please avoid smoking or drinking inside the vehicle during travel.
  • Sometimes resorts may change due to availability, but don’t worry - we’ll inform you beforehand and arrange a similar stay.
  • Keep your belongings safe - trip organizer isn’t responsible for lost items.
  • We follow fixed group timings, so please be on schedule to avoid missing activities.
  • Please stay flexible if anything unexpected occurs during the trip - like traffic, landslides, or heavy snowfall - as these are outside our control. But don’t worry, our team will be there to guide and support you throughout.
  • A respectful and positive attitude from everyone helps make the trip enjoyable for all!
  • In very rare cases, if there are too few bookings for any batch, the organiser may have to cancel the trip. If that happens, the full amount will be refunded.
  • The advance payment is non-refundable, and cancellations follow our standard refund policy. So please book only when your plans are confirmed.
